Establishment of Crimes data base. This campaign aims at the Collection, investigation and documentation of all current wildlife and Habitat Crimes. The aim of this campaign is to clearly show what crimes are being committed and who is implicated in the perpetration of these crimes.
Establishment of a crimes legal team This campaign aims at establishing contacts with legal institutions and international lawyers,firms & crimes investigators, to ensure that crimes can be investigated and action can be taken against the perpetrators.
These efforts are geared towardsthe fulfillment of the following objectives.
Species extinction, the luck of mandate and the absence of legally binding and enforceable international laws. are result of fragmented individual conservational initiatives with out a uniform consensus amongst conservationists and Conservation organizations on the need for Wildlife Rights and the necessary legal frame work for action against perpetrators.This campaign aims at involving conservationist and their organization in a bid to reach a uniform consensus on the following:-
Get Involved is a campaign aimed at securing the expertise and the financial resources necessary to investigate and take action against the perpetrators, taking into account that most multinational perpetrators have un-limited resources to evade any potential legal claims against them.
The United Nations &The International Law Commission. The international mandate and the necessary international legal frame work against the perpetration of these crimes can only be achieved by presenting the necessary evidence with the support from conservation organizations.
Regional Bodies like the EU, African Union, CIS, NAFTA, UNASUR, ASEAN,Can make a difference in the protection of Wildlife and Habitats, by passing the necessary legislation that can ensure action against the perpetration of these crimes by individual member states or companies operating in the area.
National Wildlife and Habitat authorities .These institutions are locally mandated to conserve and protect Wildlife. The success in any conservation initiatives greatly depends on a healthy working relationship with these institutions. Country Offices In Collaboration with the in country conservationists and organizations to establish a National Wildlife and Habitat Agency responsible for monitoring, evidence collection, investigation and local action against perpetrators.
